01

Who we are

This website is operated on behalf of Kindy House Day Nursery, a new setting opening in late Autumn 2026. Until Kindy House is established as a separate legal entity, data collected via this website is controlled by:

Happy Learners Day Nursery

Email: hello@kindyhouse.co.uk
Website: happylearnersdaynursery.co.uk

We are committed to protecting your personal data and handling it responsibly in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

02

What data we collect

When you register your interest via the form on this website, we collect the following personal data:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number (optional)
  • Your child's date of birth (optional)
  • Your preferred start date (optional)
  • Any additional information you choose to share in the free-text message field

If you book a discovery call via Calendly, Calendly will collect your name, email address and any information you provide during the booking process. Please refer to Calendly's privacy policy for details of how they handle your data.

03

Why we collect it and our legal basis

We collect and use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your enquiry about Kindy House
  • To keep you informed of opening dates, open days, and registration details
  • To arrange discovery calls with our team
  • To plan staffing and capacity for the new setting

Our legal basis for processing your data is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR). We have a legitimate interest in communicating with families who have expressed interest in enrolling their child, and in planning for the opening of Kindy House. We do not believe this processing overrides your rights and interests.

Where you have provided your child's date of birth, we process this solely to understand age-group demand and confirm eligibility. We do not use this for any other purpose.

04

How we store your data

Interest registration form submissions are processed by Formspree, a third-party form processing service based in the United States. Formspree is compliant with the EU/UK GDPR and processes data under standard contractual clauses. Submissions are then forwarded to our team by email and stored securely within our internal systems.

We do not store your data on this website itself. We do not use cookies or any tracking technologies on this holding page.

05

Who we share your data with

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data may be shared with:

  • Formspree — to process and transmit your form submission
  • Calendly — if you choose to book a discovery call
  • Our nursery team — to follow up on your enquiry

All third parties are required to handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable data protection law.

06

How long we keep your data

We will retain your personal data for up to 12 months from the date you submit the interest form, or until Kindy House opens and a full enrolment process begins, whichever is sooner. If you do not proceed with enrolment, your data will be deleted.

You can ask us to delete your data at any time by contacting us at the details below.

07

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your data
  • Right to restrict processing — you can ask us to limit how we use your data
